Show Us Your Stuff July Challenge

Good evening!! I know I am starting early this month - I am lucky enough to be having a week off work before the school holidays (as well as the first week of the holidays).  I am really enjoying the time to myself.  I had a NAP today!!  I am lucky that is the start of the month and there are a whole lot of new challenges going up!  So I got my hands dirty (literally) and got my scrap on.  For Show Us Your Stuff the challenge is this:

I must say, I did a double take when I saw this challenge!  I have had a photo in my pile of some writing my son did in Kindy - which was two years ago. It had been in my pile for almost that long just waiting for the right moment and well today that moment arrived!  This is my layout:

So my photo is off Jaxon's story, that I had to help him to spell out and then there is a PL card that I have 'translated' the story onto.  I have also included a chevron from Charm's Creations as my handmade item.  Thank you for such a great challenge!! And thank you for stopping by to take a look :)

  1. So jealous of your holidays!! So glad you got to spend the time scrapping! I love what you've done with this challenge. My instant reaction when seeing it was to use handwriting but you've really thought about it differently - Love it and what a precious memory to record.
