Hi all! I hope your day has been good. I am almost ready for bed already. Such a full on day at work today.... I got a chance to work on this on the public holiday yesterday. This is for the White with 1 challenge:
This was based on the challenge:
I love how this worked out. I spent ages fussy cutting all the flowers but I am pleased with how it worked out! Thanks for checking it out :)
Hi all! I hope you had a good Australia Day! I had a very quiet one, but it was really quite nice. Here is my layout for the 123 Challenge Blog:
What a mess! This is the challenge:
As you can see I used a yellow and green colour scheme and I used the word Together in my journaling. As for texture, well I went a bit nuts..... I drizzled gesso over my cardstock, I used hand dyed muslin, an enamel asterisks, a felt Charm's Creation etc.....
Thank you for coming and checking it out!!
Good evening. After an exceptionally long hard day at work I am glad I have something nice to come home to! I got to create over the weekend and the first one I want to share with you is the layout I did for the 15 January Stuck?! Challenge:
This based on this sketch:
I had a lot of fun with this one and am really please how it worked out. Thanks so much for checking it out.
Hey there. This is my last post for tonight. This is one for the Stuck?! January 1 challenge:
This is based on this sketch:
I love working from sketches. Then I know that the page will balance. I did this bright page with the photos taken at my first Retreat. It was so much fun and I hope I will get the chance to do it again soon! Thanks for coming and taking a look!
Hi!! I hope you are having a good week. Its my second week back at work after some time off over Christmas and I am thinking I need to look at booking some more time off! I hope you are enjoying your January. This is my layout for the Kraft + challenge:
This what the challenge looks like:
I had a nice piece of Kraft cardstock with all the boxes printed on it so I thought that would make great journaling spots. I don't like having photos taken or scrapping myself but I am pretty sure one day my children might appreciate it, so this one is for them. Thank you for checking it out :)
Hi there! How is the summertime treating you? I am loving the hot weather! I am truly a cold blooded creature and need to warm up to get going..... I have complete another layout for the Scrap the Boys January challenge:
This layout is based on this mood board:
I really loved this colour palette..... I love purple but soooo very rarely scrap using it! I did lots of layers and tried to get a variety of textures onto the page as well. Thank you for coming to check it out :)
Good evening!! I had a chance to get some scrapping done last week but I haven't had a chance to blog so I am hoping to get a few things up tonight. To start with, the Scrap the Girls challenge - this is my layout:
This based on the sketch from Scrap the Girls that looks like this:
I used two picture (instead of three) which have been sitting in my stash for a long time! Every time I look at them the food looks so gross that I pick something else. But my daughter looks so proud of herself so I thought I would just go with it. I did a bit of a messy layout with paint and distressed papers to fit in with the pictures. I hope you like it. Thanks for dropping by :)
Good morning. I hope you are all having a lovely start to your new year. I am glad the craziness of Christmas is over, but now it is Birthday madness now. It's my eldest's birthday today and my daughter's next weekend followed by my younger boy early next month. Today I though I would start the day with a sketch challenge from Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia and this is my layout:
This is baked on this sketch:
I can't wait to have a huge year of scrapping this year. Thanks for taking the time to check out my layout!! :)
