Good afternoon :) I am having a very productive scrapping weekend. I have been meaning to work on the Kraft + challenge for October for some time but this morning I finally got myself organised. This month the challenge is called Inspired by Nature and this is my layout:
The challenge was to use Kraft cardstock, feathers and a natural material. I started off with this cool woodgrain Kraft cardstock from Tim Holtz. Then I used teal chevron tissue paper to frame my picture of my younger son running off down the beach. I coloured the chipboard title with teal ink and flicked some on my page. I used a bit of washi and a Charm's Creation cloud up in the top corner. I then bound together some little twigs and a glitter feather and resin feather together with some teal and white twine. Here is a close up:

Off the Rails October Challenge
Hey all. Just a quick one today, as I want to try and do a few more layouts this morning. I had the perfect picture for the Off the Rails October Challenge, my Dad and my Daughter. I really wanted to do justice to the picture. This is my layout:
I love this colour combination. I used that and the words Walk beside me as my title. I inked the edges of the different patterned papers. Thanks for checking it out!

Stuck?! 15 October Sketch
Good morning. Looks like its going to be a glorious day today. I hope you are getting to enjoy it. I worked last night on the Stuck?! 15 Sketch and this is my layout:
This is based on this sketch:
I had a lot of fun with this one. Its such a cool design, so I could choose from a bunch of photos. I made this costume' for 'my younger son as he had to be a fish in assembly. Unfortunately he got sick at school that day and didn't get to participate. Thanks for stopping by :)

This month at White with 1 challenge is white with Peach Puff and this is my layout:
I have to scrap the hard times as well as the good and this is when my little princess came out of surgery last month. She is a little trooper and recovered so well! I can already see so much change in her. Thanks for coming and checking it out :)

Show Us Your Stuff October challenge
Good afternoon. I am doing some scrapping today. I have decided that I am going to dedicate my day to it. For their challenge this month, Show Us Your Stuff have challenged us to produce a page without any people!
I love looking for skinks when I am visiting my Dad as they seem to be so much bigger down the coast. My Dad has a gorgeous garden with lots of place for them to hide. I have also included a couple of handmade products from Charm's Creations. Thanks for coming by and taking a look.

Stuck?! 1 October Challenge
Good afternoon!! I hope you are all having a nice, cozy relaxing weekend! I was lucky enough to go to a friend's place last night to scrap with a lovely bunch of ladies. I didn't do this layout last night though, it was the night before, but I didn't get a chance to share yesterday. This is my layout for Stuck?! 1 October challenge:
I have been hanging on to this photo for much too long, but I could never decide how to scrap it due to the very different colours in it. But I think it turned out quite well. This was based on this sketch:
I turned the sketch on its side and I also used just one photo instead of two but I think it turned out quite well. Thanks for checking it out :)

Sketchabilities #148
This is the last sketch from Sketchabilities for the time being. Its a shame because they do have truly fabulous sketches. But I also understand the need to balance family and work and leisure and I am sure we all know what a juggle that can be at times. This is my very busy layout:
I love love love this photo! I just can't resist those dimples and they are still just as gorgeous four years later. Thanks to all at Sketchabilities for all of the fun! And the lovely comments. Thanks for checking out my layout :)

123 Challenge Blog October Challenge
Good evening!! How are you all this fine Wednesday? I worked on three layouts last night, but only one that I like... Do you do that? End up with layouts that you find no satisfaction in.... Anyway the one I am very happy with is for the 123 Challenge Blog. This month the colour is lime, the word is Today and the technique is dots/spots. Here is my layout:
I have lime on the some of the papers, the felt bow and resin flower, spots on both the background and other paper and today is in my title.
Thanks so much for coming by to check it out :)
