Show Us Your Stuff December Challenge

Hello everyone!

I am trying to get a few last minute layouts done, with so much awesome inspiration this month.... and  only hours to do it in!  I have just completed my layout for the Show Us Your Stuff December Challenge:

This is the sketch we had to work from:



I did the background using punchinella - I am loving it at the moment.  I have also used a X & O from Charm's Creations.  I have used circles in my three focal points to bring it all together.  The word together is used at the top - which reads - so happy together.  Love this photo of my gorgeous (if I do say so myself) babies.

Scrap the Girls December Challenge

I am really not a pink person, but I really enjoyed this combination, and thought it would go well with this pic that I took of my daughter and myself.  She is my mini me.  I took inspiration from the colours, and the sparkle!  Thank you for coming to check it out :)

Scrap the Boys December Challenge

Hi Everyone!

I firstly have to say sorry for my long absence.... Here it is the last day of 2016 and although it has been a good year for me, it has also been an incredibly stressful one.  I was very unwell for over a month, I have had to move house, change my daughter's childcare and just the usual being a single mum 'stuff''.  Christmas is over and I am all organised for my children's birthday (which all fall within the first 6 weeks of the year)!
I have finally had a chance to scrap.  I have been away for so long, I felt like I was starting all over again...  Here is my layout for the December Scrap the Boys' challenge:

I really like this colour combination and the Christmas theme without the 'traditional' colours.  Thank you very much to the design team and everyone who has taken the time out to come and have a look!  I hope 2017 is good to you :)

Show Us Your Stuff September Challenge

Hi there!  Its been a while.... a long while since I have scrapped and blogged.  Life has been chaos.... I have had more than a few issues.  I have at least had chance to scrap this month.  I took a look at the Show Us Your Stuff challenge sketch and had to have a go:

Show Us Your Stuff May Challenge

As you can see there lots and lots of hearts and I wrote out a verse from a poem.  I also used a Charm's Creation heavenly heart.

Kraft+ May Challenge

Hi! How are you going? I hope your Friday has been good. I have definitely got my scrap on so far this month!  This is my Kraft + layout for May:

Scrap the Boys May Challenge

Hi all! 

I have to say I am loving the sketch this month.  And for once, I had a few photos on the same subject!  This is my layout for the Scrap the Boys May Challenge:

And this is the sketch:



These photos were taken in January and are off my two boys and my Dad playing cricket on the beach.  My eldest is such sports nut and I love how active he is - I wish I had half of his energy.  I love that I got to use lots of bright summery papers to help chase the cold away.  My layout has stuck to the sketch very closely and although its not very 'fancy' I think it still shows how much fun we had.

Scrap the Girls May Challenge

Good evening :)
I hope you are all well!  I am not entirely sure how we have made it to May already....  I am scrapping some pictures of the warmer weather to help me try and forget the cold that is coming! This is my layout for the Scrap the Girls May challenge:

Have I mentioned before how much I love a good sketch??  This is a cracker too.  I used a super cute picture of my Mum and my daughter sitting together on the back step blowing bubbles. I just had to get a photo.  I used a new paper pad with this funky hot pink, black, blue, lime green and white colour scheme that works well with the photo.  I embellished it with bits and pieces from my stash.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia May Challenge

Hi!!!
I can't believe its May!?  I am determined to do more scrapbooking this month and less fluffy about and thinking about it but not producing anything.  I started out with the Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia May challenge.  This is my layout:

 

The challenge this month was this:

 

 I chose to use the middle row - pink, grey and teal.  A good colour combination and also worked quite well with the pictures I had picked out. I love these pictures of my little girl, she is such a cheeky little monkey and is growing up much too fast.

Happy Easter all!!!

My kiddies are coming back from their Dad's tomorrow so I get so spend half of Easter Sunday with them!  I am a wee bit excited :)  I have been working on some challenges whilst they have been away including this one for the Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia challenge:

Hello!!  Happy Easter :)  I hope you are getting a chance to enjoy your long weekend and maybe you are getting a bit of scrapping time too.  I did this layout for the Scrap the Boy Challenge earlier in the week:

My darling son pictured here is now a 6 year old and it so nice to look back on how much he has grown. I had a lot of fun combining lots of different textures with the twine and hand dyed muslin.  I am pretty happy with how it has turned out. Thank you for checking it out :)

Stuck?! 15 February Challenge

Good morning!  I hope you are all having an enjoyable weekend!  I was lucky to get some late month scrapping done last night and this included this layout for the Stuck?! 15 February Challenge:

This photo was taken at my eldest son's birthday party and I was really glad to find I had a bunch of lime green papers and embellishments to go with the theme.  I love blue and green together and I think it worked out quite well.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Oz

Good morning.  I got my scrap on last night as it is so close to the end of the month.  I started with the Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia February Challenge.  This is my layout:

The colour I love most in the world is purple but I so rarely scrap with it.  My favourite colour to scrap with would definitely have to be YELLOW!! I just love the contrast with white and how it can brighten up everything.  I also love that it goes with every other colour (I added just a pop of black to this layout) and it is unisex!
