White with One

Another month is nearly over again!! Why is the time flying by so fast?  My middle boy has now finished almost a term of kindy and I am not sure how that happened.  Today was one of those days when the cloud really didn't burn off and taking a good photo was very hard.  But as its almost the end of the month I wanted to get my White with 1 layout up.  This month it is:

ww1 hemlock

This is my layout:

This is an old photo, from Christmas 2009. I went for lots of different texture.  Quite like how it worked out!  Thanks for dropping by :)

Stuck?! 15 March

Good evening!
My second layout from last night was another Stuck?! sketch and I was surprise with how it turned out and how much I like the final product.  Firstly this is what the sketch looks like:

This is my layout:

I wasn't sure how it would turn out, or even if the papers would suit the subject, but I am loving the texture.  Thank you for taking a look :)

Stuck?! 1 March

Hello!! I hope you are looking forward to your weekend as much as I am!  Not that we are doing anything special, just nice to have a few mornings where we aren't running out the door at the crack of dawn :)

I got a couple of layouts done last night and I though I would share the one I did for the Stuck?! 1 March challenge which looks like this:

This is my layout:

This is my second attempt at this sketch.  I didn't like how my first one turned out but I really like this one!  Thank you for taking a look :)

D-lish Scraps Caribbean Skies

Good morning :)

I have some serious addictions when it comes to scrapbooking and one of them is D-lish Scraps.  I just have to buy their just add paper kits which perfectly match up with their mood board each month. I think this mood board is fantastic - the colours and the texture.

This is my layout:

I used the washi tape from the kit to make a boarder around the pay. The flair button and all but one of the flowers are from the kit too.  Of course, I also added a Charm's Creations Map Marker that fit perfectly into the colour and texture scheme.  Thanks for checking it out :)

123 Challenge

Good morning :)

I have been working on my layout for the 123 Challenge Blog March Challenge for about a week now, but I just hadn't gotten round to finishing it off.  That was until last night.  Firstly the challenge:

My layout is title 'I really like you'. I started off by picking a piece of cardstock which has a lovely aqua stripe across it.  Then I used a some gold embossing powder and a stencil to create the arrow head background.  I used the word see in my journalling.

Thank you for having a look!!

Kraft + March Challenge

Good afternoon!

I hope you have had a happy and productive weekend.  I got a chance to work on the Kraft + March challenge last night- this is what it looks like:

current challenge

I love craft and I have recently decided that bling is a pretty cool thing.  The challenge includes the sketch, on a craft background with sequins/gilter/gold/sparkles/bling.  This is what I came up with:

I used embossing powder and a stencil to make the spotty gold background.  I used silver ink on my woodchip hearts and I used some gold pearls on the stars and near the bottom of the layout. Sorry my photo turned out a bit wonky, I am still trying to master the art of taking a good layout shot! Thank you for taking the time to take a look!!

Show Us Your Stuff March Challenge

Good afternoon!

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday :).  I got on a bit of a role last night and decided to have a go at the Show Us Your Stuff challenge for March which is:

I love this quote and it is very true for all of my children, but I found this picture of my eldest (who is now 7) when he was 6 months old!  And boy did he ever make me smile.  This is my layout:

I knew this paperkit would called Parkbench by Fancy Pants Designs had the perfect colours for this layout and I did a sort of brickwork pattern.  I also included a Charm's Creation Heavenly Heart and a flair button from D-lish Scraps.  Thanks for stopping by :)

Scrap the Girls

Hiya!!

I completed this layout at least a week ago but I have just been flat out with the kids and work that taking pictures just hasn't been on my radar.  But its a gorgeous Saturday today, so I thought I better take the opportunity before I let this one slip by.  This is for the March Scrap the Girls challenge which is:

I turned the sketch anticlockwise to suit my portrait photo of my daughter.  This is my layout:

I used a paper kit call Madeleine by Bo Bunny (which I bought solely because Madeleine is my niece's name) and the funky swirls are from the kit as well as the title.  The big flower down the bottom - I was sure I would never get it onto a layout, but I am quiet happy with it.  Thank you for stopping by :)

Scrap the Boys March Challenge

Good afternoon

I started this layout for Scrap the Boys earlier last week but got interrupted so when I finally got back to it last night, it went together so easily!  This is what the sketch looks like:

This is my layout:

This photo was taken last year and I love it.  I used a new paper kit I bought called Rough and Tumble by Carta Bella.  I teamed it up with cool embellishments from Charm's Creations, D-lish Scraps and Flutterby Designs. Thank you for coming and checking it out :)
