I had some fun with this one as this is a photo of my eldest son and baby daughter taken earlier this year.  I love the bright colours.  Hope you like it!

I love the example Charm created but was a little worried as I am not really good at putting some colours together.  This is what I created:

Show Us Your Stuff October Challenge

At Show Us Your Stuff (http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/), the challenge for October is to create a layout using multiple pictures, arrows and as always, include handmade elements.  I created the below layout of my daughter and I have to say, I am really happy with the way it turned out!

October Scrap the Girls Challenge

The Scrap the Girls (http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com.au/) challenge this month is a puzzle challenge.  The layout needs to include the following elements:

• Hexagon
• Squiggle
• Circle
• Rectangle
• Strips

I created the following layout:

It contains hexagons in the top left hand corner, a squiggle around the outside of the journaling card,  the spool, journal card and flowers are circles, and rectangles and strips of paper.

 

Kraft it Up October Challenge

I have to say when I look at the Kraft It Up (http://kraftitup.blogspot.com.au/p/this-months-challenge.html) website to see what this month's challenge would be, I was rather excited.




I am not sure why but I really like this colour scheme. I knew I would have a good photo as both my boys love orange and wear it often.  In this photo DS1 is all dressed up in his school winter uniform and DS2 is photo bombing! I set to work to create something and this is what I came up with:

More pink!  Here is what I did:

My title 'A Daughter' is followed by 'is one of the most beautiful gifts this world had to give' which I did with my motex but because its on clear take its very hard to read with this photo. 

123 October Challenge

I was very excited with this one.  Yellow is a fantastic colour.  It did inspire me and this is my layout:

I am having some issues with my camera (the boys have been playing with it!!!) so I can't see the photo until after its been taken.  So my photo isn't fantastic. I hope you like it!
