Good evening! I started to work on this layout about a week but I just hadn't had a chance to finish it off until last night. This is what the 123 Challenge Blog challenge for June looks like:
This is my layout:
My title is 'Practically Family' and I have used blue stitching and gold thickers, a mesh material, a gold clip and gold and white arrow by Charm's Creations. Thanks for checking it out!!
Hi!! I went to the D-lish Scraps online store on the 2nd of June to buy a Just Add Paper kit to discover that they were all sold out. I really kicked myself for not getting on there sooner! Its due to this very awesome mood board that it sold out so quickly:
It's lucky I have a giant stash of D-lish Scraps!! And lots of colours too. So I went through my stash to find some yumminess to use and this is what I came up with:
As always Kraft+ has put up an extra awesome inspiration board for the June challenge which looks like this: When I first looked at it I thought cool, but I wonder if I have anything with animal print in my stash? I literally went through everything but the only thing I could find was a piece of zebra print ribbon. So I went on Charm's Creations and bought one of her super cool Zebra Butterfly Heavenly Hearts and I also went to Spotlight and bought a fat quarter of tiger print material which I used to make the circle shaped yoyo flowers which I topped with veneer hearts. I also used some veneer circles and a picture of my Daugher in monkey print PJs to finish the page off. I called it 'I love your face' and this is what it looks like:
This is a close up of one of my yoyo flowers:
Thanks so much for dropping by and taking a look :)
Good afternoon, its been a while since I have had a chance to get on here and post some pics but a late night last night meant that I got my hands dirty and had some much needed scrap therapy. I worked on Sketchabilities #140 which has been sitting in my in progress pile for the last week or so. I had put together the background and put the texture paste (which I mixed with some silver paint) and had the photo ready but the rest had to wait. Unfortunately, its a bit late for the challenge but I enjoyed it all the same :) This is what the sketch looked like: This is the layout I created:
I hope you like it - thanks for checking it out :)
Good evening. I was really on a roll this morning before I crashed out and slept all afternoon! I love the colour from the White with 1 challenge this month which is: I created this layout:
This colour is just screaming out for a beach photo. This is my eldest son fossicking in the rock pools. Thank you for coming by and checking it out :)
Good evening!! I hope you are enjoying the start of your long weekend! We have all been sick with colds over the last week or so, so I am hoping to have a weekend of hibernation :) And scrapping, of course. Earlier today I got a chance to work on the sketch from Stuck?! challenges and this is what the sketch for June 1 looks like: As I mention every month, I love sketch challenges! I don't have to worry about things being balanced or looking right. I can just concentrate on colour and photos and having fun. This is my layout:
My boys had their school disco last Friday night and they had such a ball dancing with their mates, so I had to scrap these gorgeous moments! Thank you for checking it out :)
Good evening! I finally have a few moments of peace as my kids are all finally asleep. I got some scrappy time today, due to being sick with a cold. Its to be expected with the horrible -7 & -5 mornings we have had here in Canberra most of this week. I am so not a winter person. But it is good reason to stay warm and scrap. I started off with the Off the Rails mood board which looks like this: I love the picture of the shop with the really out there colours. It was a good inspiration that is for sure and this is the layout I came up with:
I used the fantastic colours and I also did a family theme. This is my Nanna, my Auntie and Uncle and both of my sons. Thanks for coming by and checking it out :)
