Stuck?! 1 June Sketch

Good evening!! I hope you are enjoying the start of your long weekend!  We have all been sick with colds over the last week or so, so I am hoping to have a weekend of hibernation :)  And scrapping, of course.  Earlier today I got a chance to work on the sketch from Stuck?! challenges and this is what the sketch for June 1 looks like:



As I mention every month, I love sketch challenges!  I don't have to worry about things being balanced or looking right.  I can just concentrate on colour and photos and having fun.  This is my layout:

My boys had their school disco last Friday night and they had such a ball dancing with their mates, so I had to scrap these gorgeous moments!  Thank you for checking it out :)

Off the Rails June Mood Board

Good evening!  I finally have a few moments of peace as my kids are all finally asleep. I got some scrappy time today, due to being sick with a cold.  Its to be expected with the horrible -7 & -5 mornings we have had here in Canberra most of this week.  I am so not a winter person.  But it is good reason to stay warm and scrap.  I started off with the Off the Rails mood board which looks like this:



I love the picture of the shop with the really out there colours.  It was a good inspiration that is for sure and this is the layout I came up with:

I used the fantastic colours and I also did a family theme.  This is my Nanna, my Auntie and Uncle and both of my sons.  Thanks for coming by and checking it out :)

123 Challenge Blog

Good evening!  I don't know where May has gone but its almost the end of the month again.  Today I took a day off work to catch up on some very much needed sleep, but also to scrap :).  I worked on the 123 Challenge Blog Challenge for May which looks like this:

The funny look on my photo is the reflection of the pergola roof but I was struggling for sunlight.  This is a old photo, my DS2 is now a big kindy kid!  But I have an awesome beige sandstone Heavenly Heart from Charm's Creations, flag/bunting and the word baby.  Thanks so much for checking it out!

Good morning!!

I hope you are well and having a really creative month.  This month at White with 1 the colour is:




Now at first I was thinking cool - red!   But then I realised that Raspberry wine is more of a hot pink colour and I had to rethink my whole idea :).  I though I would try and do lots of texture with layout and this is what I came up with:

Hi :)  Its a cold and rainy day here in Canberra today and a good excuse to stay inside.  I wish I could be scrapping right now but my two year old would have the place destroyed in about 2 seconds flat.  Anyway, I though I would share with you what I got up to last night for Sketchabilities #139 which looks like this:



Pretty awesome sketch!  I really tried to do it justice.  I love this photo of my younger son with my Dad's new dog.
