Good morning all  :)

I hope you are enjoying your last day of summer.  Summer is my favourite season, so I am wishing we could just stretch it out a bit further.  I have been enjoying being outside and haven't done as much scrapping!  This is my layout for the Scrap the Boys February Challenge:

So my picture is my boys on the first day of the new school year (last year).  This is a perfect reflection of how they both react to returning to school. 

Scrap the Girls February Challenge

Good morning all....

Time seems be passing at an amazingly fast. Another month has passed and I still haven't done as much as Scrapping as I normally do.   I completed the following layout for the Scrap the Girls February Challenge:

I turned the sketch 90 degrees anti clockwise as I didn't have photos of the correct orientation.  I had a  good time with this layout.  Thank you for checking it out :)

White with 1 February Challenge

Good evening.....

Can anyone tell me where February gone?  I blinked and missed it I think :)  I have had some chance to scrap and now I really need to get these up before the end of the month is here!!  The following is my layout for the White with 1 Challenge

This was based on the following sketch and the colour this month which is blue jeans:

Show Us Your Stuff January Challenge

Hi all!  I hope you are keeping cool - it is meant to be 40 degrees today in Canberra.  The kids will be glad they have swimming lessons after school.  I spent some time on the weekend scrapping and I had a go at the Show Us Your Stuff January Challenge:

This is based on the follow inspiration board:



I took inspiration from the beach theme and the colours.  Our summer story always includes sport of some description.  I have also used a Charm's Creations Heavenly Heart as my handmade embellishment.  Thank you for coming to check it out :)

Kraft Plus January Challenge

Good morning all....
I have just taken my boys to their first day of school for the year and now I am hanging out with my princess for a while.  I did some scrapping over the weekend and this is the layout I created for the Kraft + January Challenge:

I was looking forward to doing this challenge and this was the only photo I had printed that actually had a bike on it. I used one of the Just Add Paper kits from D'lish Scraps with a few extra things added in.  Thank you for stopping by to check it out :)

Stuck?! 15 January Challenge

Happy Australia Day everyone! 

As I have a public holiday today, I thought I would make the most of it and get my hands messy.  I created this layout for the Stuck?! 15 January Challenge:

I had been planning to scrap these photos for a while and had bought the Charm's Creation Cat Heart especially for it.  My dearest daughter now calls all cat Rigby - which was just a name we decided for the cat as we didn't know its name or where exactly she lived.  Thank you so much for checking this out :)

Scrap the Boys January Challenge

Hi Everyone :)

Its late right now but I really want to get the layouts I did this weekend up, as I tend to leave these things to the last minute.  Yesterday I spent some time working on my layout for the Scrap the Boys January challenge and this is it:

 

 

The challenge this month was to create a layout that includes numbers.   I have entitled my layout '2 Unique 4 Words' - I absolutely love this photo of my monkey :).  I also used a strip of numbers down the side of my photo.  I have also included a picture of the bottom corner of my layout as it is a bit hard to see, it is a profile of a boy chipboard and a flair button that reads 'lost without you'.

Show Us Your Stuff December Challenge

Hello everyone!

I am trying to get a few last minute layouts done, with so much awesome inspiration this month.... and  only hours to do it in!  I have just completed my layout for the Show Us Your Stuff December Challenge:

This is the sketch we had to work from:



I did the background using punchinella - I am loving it at the moment.  I have also used a X & O from Charm's Creations.  I have used circles in my three focal points to bring it all together.  The word together is used at the top - which reads - so happy together.  Love this photo of my gorgeous (if I do say so myself) babies.

I am really not a pink person, but I really enjoyed this combination, and thought it would go well with this pic that I took of my daughter and myself.  She is my mini me.  I took inspiration from the colours, and the sparkle!  Thank you for coming to check it out :)

Scrap the Boys December Challenge

Hi Everyone!

I firstly have to say sorry for my long absence.... Here it is the last day of 2016 and although it has been a good year for me, it has also been an incredibly stressful one.  I was very unwell for over a month, I have had to move house, change my daughter's childcare and just the usual being a single mum 'stuff''.  Christmas is over and I am all organised for my children's birthday (which all fall within the first 6 weeks of the year)!
I have finally had a chance to scrap.  I have been away for so long, I felt like I was starting all over again...  Here is my layout for the December Scrap the Boys' challenge:

I really like this colour combination and the Christmas theme without the 'traditional' colours.  Thank you very much to the design team and everyone who has taken the time out to come and have a look!  I hope 2017 is good to you :)

Show Us Your Stuff September Challenge

Hi there!  Its been a while.... a long while since I have scrapped and blogged.  Life has been chaos.... I have had more than a few issues.  I have at least had chance to scrap this month.  I took a look at the Show Us Your Stuff challenge sketch and had to have a go:

As you can see there lots and lots of hearts and I wrote out a verse from a poem.  I also used a Charm's Creation heavenly heart.
