I found a new sketch challenge this month: Life. Paper. Scrapbook. (http://www.lifepaperscrapbook.com/2013/09/september-sketch-challenge-team-b.html).
I had a lot of fun with this one as I had two fabulous photos of my second boy with his trucks that I wanted to do something bright and playful with. I got to use some of the papers and embellishments that I wanted to use for this kind of layout, that have been sitting in my stash for ages. I am very happy with how this turned out:

Scrapbooking from Scratch Quote Challenge
The quote challenge at Scrapbooking from Scratch (http://scrapbookingfromscratch.blogspot.com.au/) was use the quote "Life is Good" somewhere within your layout. This is the example that Charm created:
I created the below layout from a photo on the day my second baby was born:

Scrapbooking from Scratch September Colour Challenge
This months colour challenge from Scrapbooking from Scratch (http://scrapbookingfromscratch.blogspot.com.au/) was to create a layout based on the this colour palate:
More pink! I don't think I have used this much pink ever in one month! And I have just looked at this layout and realised I didn't put a title on it. But I am actually quite happy with it without one. Hope you like it.
I have used texture paste with some paint thru it to make it blue. I love my little girls big blue eyes and chubby cheeks!

Scrapbooking From Scratch September Sketch Challenge
Over at Scrapbooking from Scratch (http://scrapbookingfromscratch.blogspot.com.au/2013/09/the-sfs-challenges-can-now-be-found.html), Anita has put up the following sketch challenge:
I really like this sketch as it has a fair bit of clean space in it which is right up my alley. I went with kraft with red, teal and yellow as the picture was fairly neutral so I could go with whatever took my fancy. I am quite happy with this one:
I used Bazill card stock, My Mind's Eye papers, Dylusions Mists, Prima and American Thickers Alphas, Charm's Creations Heavenly Heart and Fabulous Flower, Purple Pumpkin tag and flower, Fiskars border punch, A Flair for Buttons Flair Button, Flutterby Designs tab, WOW chipboard, Twine, Staples

Scrap the Girls September Challenge
I did struggle with the Scrap the Girls (http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com.au/) challenge for this month. It was to create a layout using orange, pink and green as the colour scheme! More pink! Anyway I had a go and I got to try out my new chevron mask with some texture paste too.

Kraft It Up September Challenge
Kraft It Up (http://kraftitup.blogspot.com.au/p/this-months-challenge.html had a sketch challenge this month as follows:
I had to take a bit of time to think this one over as its a very detailed sketch and I usually have quite a bit of clear space in my layouts. This is how my take came out:

123 September Challenge
This month's challenge from 123 (http://123-challenge-blog.blogspot.com.au/) was:
This months challenge...
This months challenge...
COLOUR: PINK
WORD: SWEET
TECHNIQUE: FLORALS
WORD: SWEET
TECHNIQUE: FLORALS
I have to say that pink is not my colour at all!! The clothes my daughter are wearing in this pic were all gifts because I avoid pink! But I still managed to have enough stuff in my stash to put together a layout. Its not as pink as some of the other entries, but its about as pink as I am going to get!

Show Us Your Stuff September Challenge
This month the challenge from Show Us Your Stuff (http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/) is to create a red and white layout. I have to say the examples put up by the creative team are out of this world and one day I hope to be able to create things of that calibre. In the mean time I am just enjoying joining in! Red is such a lovely colour and not one I use on a regular basis and one that is just fantastic in these monotone challenges. Here is my layout:
I hope you like it! My little man is now a big 5.5 year old - how the time flies. He is such a sweetheart and I am so proud of the little man he is turning into.....

Scrap the Boys September Challenge
Well I was lucky enough to have all the kids in bed relatively early last night so once again I started my month with the Scrap the Boys challenge (http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/). This month's challenge is to scrap an outdoor activity. This is an old photo of my eldest son and it is a view of part of our back garden from before we had our extension.
